People's opinion on the lodge lounge...
Brothers,
I would like to know what you think about spending some money to make the lodge a destination in the Sacramento #40 lodge. A place where membership gives great privilege to access our facilities, which might look to be geared toward leisure, but in actuality geared toward deep philosophical debate and discussion. Please post your thoughts and feeling on this idea.
The Junior Warden's Meritorious Service Award - Win a 32" Flat Panel LCD HDTV
A new program for this year is the Junior Warden Meritorious Service Award given to those brothers who put in time to serve our lodge over and over again. For each completed task, members of the knife and fork committee will receive points. At the end of the year the person with the highest amount of points will earn the JW-MSA for that given year, their name on a perpetual trophy to be displayed in the lodge foyer, and this years prize is a new 32" Flat Panel LCD HDTV.
Rules are simple:
Knife and Fork Committee Meeting - Come and lend a hand!
Come and help plan for the 2010 masonic year. The knife and fork committee will be gathering at the Sacramento 49er truck stop on Sunday January 3rd at 12 pm.
January 2010 Knife and Fork Committee Members

1) John Bernatz Raised: 5/20/2009
2) Jacob Ball Raised Raised: 6/17/2009
3) Matthew Kuhlman Raised: 8/26/2009
4) Gary Hubbert Raised: 10/21/2009
The committee will usually have 5 members, but since Brother Montiel moved to the east coast, this month we will be 1 member short. When the next man is raised, he will fill the fifth slot. Once all 5 slots are filled, the next man raised will then take position #5 and position #1 will be rotated out to other committee's as assigned by the Master.

Knife and Fork Committee
Happy new year brothers! As I mentioned in my tresleboard article, the knife and fork committee is alive and kicking. This committee will have the responsibility of running all lodge events that do not take place at a tiled meeting. Committee members are selected by the date they were raised. The last 5 raised brothers will serve on the committee until they are rotated out by a new member. The committee members will be announced on this page every month so that all who see these men frantically running around during events will know who they are and why they are working so hard for our lodge. If you see them, stop them (while they are not busy..please) introduce yourself and thank them for their service.
